Sylvie Atterer started her journey in the music business in 2003. After finishing her B.A. in Philosophy and Journalism at the University of Karlsruhe, she moved to Cologne and started at Roadrunner Records. She ultimately became a Public Relations Manager at Roadrunner, and worked with bands like Dream Theater, Slash, Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Alter Bridge, Juliette Lewis, Black Stone Cherry, Airbourne, Staind, Opeth, Megadeth, Porcupine Tree, and Nickelback, among others, across the label’s roster.
After Roadrunner Records was absorbed by Warner Music Group in 2012, Sylvie started her own company, Sailor Entertainment, and has worked on campaigns with multiple labels including Warner Music, Universal Music, Sony Music, ElevenSeven, Svart Records, Century Media, Cooking Vinyl, as well as with concert promoters, festivals, and directly for artists. She has continued her work with artists such as Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Airbourne, and Black Stone Cherry. Her roster has expanded past previous artists at Roadrunner, and grew to include Korn, Monster Truck, Steel Panther, The Darkness, The Sword, Amon Amarth, Billy Idol, Avenged Sevenfold and many more.
